About the Course

Join us and learn American Sign Language, where we talk with our hands and listen with our eyes!

We’ll start with the basics of ASL, such as introducing yourself, asking "How are you?," and using the manual alphabet.
As we progress, students will grow in vocabulary, as we learn through various units covering topics such as family, food, numbers, colors, people, and more.

During class time, we’ll use worksheets, activity sheets, and play fun games to help us practice and build our signing skills!
Students will learn to sign and express thoughts and ideas of the world around them in ASL!

Ava Gamez is the sole owner and instructor with Signing in the Gap, providing quality American Sign Language classes to homeschooling families.

You must enroll through The Annex Learning Place. Click on the "Enroll" button above to enroll in the class. Wait for the enrollment confirmation email BEFORE submitting payment or p.o.

Please note: Payment must be made, or proof of certificate must be emailed to me before the 1st day of class. There are NO Refunds once the class has started. Please contact me if payment arrangements need to be made. If you enroll after classes have begun, payment must be made, or a certificate must be submitted before attending.
