Bookworm Bunch: Hands-on literature fun

About the Course

Spark a lifelong love of reading in this dynamic, multi-sensory class for TK–2nd graders.

Students will experience adventure through dramatic play, arts and crafts, games, and fun projects, transforming beloved tales into hands-on learning experiences that build early literacy, vocabulary, and comprehension skills based on weekly featured picture books.

As an additional result of the class, students will strengthen skills in identifying these five core components of story elements:
Characters (who),
Setting (where and when),
Problem (the conflict),
Events (the plot), and
Solution (how it ends).
