About the Course

This language enrichment class will introduce students to the basics of ASL and start them off on their journey of learning to sign!
Students will learn skills such as fingerspelling, introducing themselves, basic conversation, and basic grammar rules.
Multiple unit topics will cover a wide range of helpful vocabulary.

Students will also gain a basic understanding of Deaf culture and signing etiquette.

In class, we’ll use worksheets and play fun ASL centered games to learn and grow.

Ava Gamez is the sole owner and instructor with Signing in the Gap, providing quality American Sign Language classes to homeschooling families.

You must enroll through The Annex Learning Place. Click on the "Enroll" button above to enroll in the class. Wait for the enrollment confirmation email BEFORE submitting payment or p.o.

Please note: Payment must be made, or proof of certificate must be emailed to me before the 1st day of class. There are NO Refunds once the class has started. Please contact me if payment arrangements need to be made. If you enroll after classes have begun, payment must be made, or a certificate must be submitted before attending.
