About the Course

Movement & Motion is an exciting, high-energy class designed for children who learn best
through movement, exploration, and hands-on experiences.
This unique class combines active learning, whole-body movement, gymnastics, and martial arts to create a fun and engaging environment where children can learn while they move.

Perfect for energetic learners, this class recognizes that children are not meant to sit still all day.
Instead, they thrive through motion, play, curiosity, and adventure. Through obstacle courses,
movement-based games, balance and coordination activities, martial arts drills, and hands-on learning
experiences, students will build strength, body awareness, focus, confidence, and foundational
academic skills.

At the heart of Movement & Motion is the belief that play is powerful and movement is meaningful.
Every jump, roll, stretch, and activity becomes an opportunity for growth, discovery, and learning.

Hello everyone!
My name is Christie Perez, and I am the owner of ATC Martial Arts & Enrichment, a college professor, and a doctoral student in public health. As a veteran homeschooling mom who graduated two children—and is currently schooling my rising 2nd grader—I am right there in the trenches with you!
While I teach all age groups, early learners have my heart. I believe children thrive through active, hands-on play, movement, and joy.
Because little people have big emotions, I prioritize a patient, loving environment where every child feels safe to take risks and grow.
At 4'9", getting down on their level comes naturally to me! I believe connecting with
children means truly seeing the world through their eyes and helping them discover that learning can be
both meaningful and fun.
I cannot wait to inspire confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning in your children.

Please contact me if payment arrangements need to be made. If you enroll after classes have begun, payment must be made, or a certificate must be submitted before attending.
