About the Course

This class for budding writers who love to draw, pretend, and make up stories.
No prior writing experience is required; we meet every child at their current writing level, whether they are just starting to label pictures or ready to write full sentences.

Students will learn;
-Story Building: Learn the building blocks of a great tale: characters, setting, and plot.
-Sensory Details: Discover how to use descriptive words to make stories "pop" using the five senses.
-Illustration Integration: Combine art and writing by drawing and doodling before putting words on the page.
-Collaborative Writing: Participate in group brainstorming and interactive storytelling to spark creativity.
