About the Course

Students will develop their imagination and enhance their creativity through crafting original and detailed writing pieces.

Students will learn to convey their thoughts and ideas coherently and engagingly, using the "Show NOT Tell" writing method.

Students will also learn the 7 basic elements of Creative Writing;
-Character
-Plot
-Setting
-Theme
-Point of View
-Conflict and
-Resolution.

Students will build their vocabulary in an effort to expand their storytelling using details in a manner that is more likely to engage their audience.

An emphasis on correct spelling, grammar and sentence structure will be covered in this class as well.
