About the Course
Students will learn how to tell a story through visual imagery, edit digital media and be able to create many different types of videos, including their own short film!
During this course, students will learn both creative and technical aspects of video production, as well as complete their own video projects.
Video Projects will included:
~ Movie Action Scene
~ Video Interview
~ Music Video
~ Commercial
~ Short Narrative Film
Equipment Required:
Students will need to have a camera for this class, and as I like to say, the best camera to use is the one you already have. ;)
For this class, any SmartPhone that takes video is perfectly adequate, or any other camera you may already have that takes digital video. (Compact Cameras, DSLRs, Mirrorless, Camcorders, Tablets.)
If you decide to purchase a camera for your students, I would recommend looking for a used one, since this is a beginner class.
For editing software, a list of free downloadable editing apps will be given to the students.
They will need to be able to edit their videos on either a phone or a computer/laptop.
Please reach out with any questions you may have.
