About the Course
Fundamentals of Sports PE: Track & Field and Fencing will give all ages of students the opportunity to work on sports skills, develop their motor skills, and grow as athletes. We will start the spring semester with Track & Field events! Students will learn the high jump, long jump, shot put, discus, javelin, learn sprinting technique, run hurdles, and relays! It will culminate with a track & field MEET! We will finish the spring semester with Foil Fencing! Student will learn to fence with actual Olympic fencing equipment. This sport is very safe, students will be wearing protective equipment, and it is very FUN!
Students will be grouped within the class by age and skill level to work on sports at their own level with students their age and skill. .

Todd was a national champion & All American in college track & field, a 3 sport
Varsity athlete in high school, earning the award as top athlete of his high school,
and is a member of his college’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
California Athletics provides Fundamentals of Sports PE classes for home-schooled students in all areas of Southern California, as well as classes in Woodworking, Aviation Science, and competitive sports team opportunities. Founder and teacher Todd Nash teaches all classes.
You must enroll through The Annex Learning Place. Click on the "Enroll" button above to enroll in the class. Wait for the enrollment confirmation email BEFORE submitting payment or p.o.
**Payment must be made, or proof of certificate must be emailed to me before the 1st day of class. There are NO Refunds once the class has started. Please contact me if payment arrangements need to be made. If you enroll after classes have begun, payment must be made, or a certificate must be submitted before attending.
Charter School Info: California Athletics is a vendor with almost all charter schools; they issue POs to pay for classes, sports, and water sports! Look on the charter school vendor list under Todd Nash or California Athletics.
Private Pay: You can also pay directly for classes by cash or check.
