About the Course
Students will learn and practice skills, techniques, and rules in foil fencing.
They will learn body position, footwork, movement, attacks, parries (defenses), and have bouts against other students.
Students will use real fencing equipment provided by Coach Nash.
Fencing is an Olympic sport and is a SAFE sport when proper rules and procedures are implemented. Students will also engage in some group fencing games, both with the actual fencing equipment and with practice foils.

Todd was a national champion & All American in college track & field, a 3 sport
Varsity athlete in high school, earning the award as top athlete of his high school,
and is a member of his college’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
California Athletics provides Fundamentals of Sports PE classes for home-schooled students in all areas of Southern California, as well as classes in Woodworking, Aviation Science, and competitive sports team opportunities. Founder and teacher Todd Nash teaches all classes.
You must enroll through The Annex Learning Place. Click on the "Enroll" button above to enroll in the class. Wait for the enrollment confirmation email BEFORE submitting payment or p.o.
**Payment must be made, or proof of certificate must be emailed to me before the 1st day of class. There are NO Refunds once the class has started. Please contact me if payment arrangements need to be made. If you enroll after classes have begun, payment must be made, or a certificate must be submitted before attending.
Charter School Info: California Athletics is a vendor with almost all charter schools; they issue POs to pay for classes, sports, and water sports! Look on the charter school vendor list under Todd Nash or California Athletics.
Private Pay: You can also pay directly for classes by cash or check.
