About the Course

We will study living things, including Genetics, DNA, Cells, Human Systems, and the human impact on our environment, with hands-on activities and experiments.
We will discover what scientists are studying today and how they’ve built upon the work of scientists in the past.
Key vocabulary and topics will be recorded in journals throughout the semester.
Students will use microscopes and perform dissections.
They will complete lab reports in class.
All materials will be provided.

* Please note: This course will be offered both semesters to cover the topics for 1 year of Biology lab credit. This is the 2nd semester needed to complete this 1-year class to earn credit. If not using this class as a requirement, you may join as enrichment.
