Career Exploration and Life Skills

This class is designed to guide and instruct HS & MS students on how to navigate the next stages of their education. This learning experience is a combination of group discussions, hands on performance and lecture (Instructors & Professionals).
We, as a class and individually, will volunteer our services to other organizations on campus, to give our students some experience in the real world. In addition, experienced professionals will speak with our students about their future career curiosities, in a Q & A setting.
A portion of this class will review basic life skills, challenges and simple solutions.
We will also cover budgeting and a touch of the Real Estate World.
The most intriguing part of this class is configuring HS & MS Homeschoolers / College Concurrent & Duel Enrollment agendas for each student to use as a starting point. When they begin their new journey or even if they have already started, navigation and explanation, with some tips on doubling up on HS & College credits will be priceless .
And of course, students will have one Gardening experience!
** If your child is in HS and is taking Career Explorations, they will receive 8+ hours a month credit in this class, depending on their participation.
Please Note**Certain days (not all) students will be required to stay after school for group participation and volunteering. This time will never go over 1 hour unless a trip is preplanned.
