About the Course

An inspiring first step into the world of music.

This course is designed for beginners with little to no prior experience. Students will develop a solid foundation in piano technique, note reading, rhythm, and musical expression. Students will build confidence and a love for musicthrough engaging activities, simple pieces, and group collaboration.

Key skills include:
· Proper hand position and posture
· Reading notes and simple rhythms
· Basic music theory concepts
· Introduction to dynamics and musical phrasing
· Playing simple songs with both hands

Our nurturing environment ensures that each student progresses at their own pace while experiencing the joy of making music. By the end of the course, students will be able to perform short pieces and have the skills needed to continue into more advanced piano study.

Materials needed to be brought to class:
61-key Keyboard with batteries
Music Book (this info will be emailed)

Once you enroll, class refunds will not be issued under any circumstances. By enrolling in this class, you agree to adhere to this policy. This policy is in place to ensure the efficient allocation of resources and to maintain the integrity of the class. We appreciate your understanding and commitment. Payments:
Charter PO: Please request a full semester and 1 PO (please do not break up the amount) The date of the PO will need to be the first date of the class. The PO must be requested and sent to Buzzy Mae 2 weeks before class begins. Once enrolled, and PO received, the materials and class will not be refunded. Your PO must be emailed to buzzymaemusic@gmail.com before beginning class in January
