About the Course
Living a healthy life becomes a priority in everyone's life at one point or another. In this course, I will use my diversified health and wellness background to teach children the importance that nutrition has on your physical and mental well being. Students will learn about healthy eating habits, how food effects a person's physiology, what foods are healthy to consume, and what foods are not. I believe that if children learn how to eat healthy foods and why it is important early in life, we can help them to avoid certain chronic disease's in the future. Specific physical activities will also be conducted in the classroom to teach proper forms of exercise at each student's developmental level.
